Life has caught up with me a little during the past few weeks. My husband has been away, we have had visitors, and this generally tends to be quite a busy time for us anyway. My private life commitments have meant that I haven’t posted as frequently as I would like to. However, even though I haven’t been posting as prolifically as I have previously, I have been thinking about this blog and where I would like it to go.
I have always had the view that I want my story to be out there in the world as a possibility for helping others. That’s why I started this blog in the first place. We all experience our own version of suffering in every day life, sometimes without even realising. I want this blog to be a place where people can find the possibility of reducing suffering and being curious about how they could see the world differently.
My goal for this blog is that it is a place that provides ideas and encourages curiosity. Rather than providing solutions and truths, I want my blog to provide food for thought, ideas, and possibilities, which people can then take forward and turn into something that works for them. My way isn’t the way, it a way and, from this way, I would love people to be able to pick and choose what works for them, and adopt and adapt.
And this huge reflection has led me to the assessment that I can’t produce a blog that adds value to others if I don’t know what others are looking for.
So, for this Talkback Tuesday, I genuinely invite you to share with me…
- What would you like to see more of on this blog?
- What would you like to see less of?
- What else would be helpful?
